Client
Map illustrator Peita Blythe designed the Inner West Ale Trail to showcase local breweries and stockists in the area.
Problem
Peita needed a website to complement her printed brochures and mural, so Cartisan collaborated with designer / developer Vanessa Brewster to create an interactive version of her illustration for online audiences. By using a mixed physical & digital delivery model, Peita was able to cater to a wider audience and maximise the amount of people who could view her map design.
Solution
The design elements of the Peita’s illustration were re-created within a web map, including the unique illustrative icons giving the map its distinct point of difference.
Users can interact with the map to view the brewery and stockist details, gain automatically generated directions, and access further information about the venues.
