Consulting
Greener City Branch
User Interface Scoping for the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) Greener City Branch (GCB).

Problem
GCB will be delivering a digital initiative designed to assist decision-makers in State and Local Government with the creation of cooler and shadier neighbourhoods. The product will provide users with sophisticated canopy data through a bespoke user-friendly interface, enabling them to make informed decisions about Greater Sydney’s urban canopy.
Solution
The consulting team supported GCB throughout a scoping and analysis phase to aid the Department in choosing the most suitable geospatial technology solution for their user interface. This process encompassed:
- Stakeholder engagement and user research.
- Requirements definition.
- Market scan and evaluation of technology platform options.
- A high-level system design, illustrating system architecture requirements for vendors.
- Scope of Works documentation to support the tendering process and implementation of the user-interface.
